Stampers with an Attitude Chalk it Up Blog Hop!

I hope you are enjoying the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop.  August's theme is 'Chalk it Up'!  All of the artwork uses the new Chalk it Up paper pack from Close to My Heart.

If you are following the Stampers with an Attitude blog hop you are on the right track and just left Jen Patrick's blog to arrive here.  Isn’t everyone’s artwork just amazing?  Here is my creation.

The 4x4 card was inspired by something I saw online but I was unable to locate it again so I could give credit. I used the Chalk it Up paper and "Paired" it with Close to My Heart's "Pear" cardstock. The sentiment on the card says "Have a Happy Day" and is part of the new Have a Happy Day stamp set. The  card base and ruffled mat were cut using the Artbooking Cricut cartridge and the Artiste cartridge was used to cut the sentiment label. I just love my CTMH Cricut cartridges.  They are so versatile!

The other item in the picture is a cookie wrapper.  Both the wrapper and the label were cut with a project file from Cricut Design Space. "Enjoy!" was written with the Cricut Explore.  The wrapper is lined with freezer paper. It would be easy to create in Cricut Craft room by combining a solid square with lattice triangles. A 3 1/2" cookie will fit in the wrapper.

Please contact me at creativechristyg@gmail.com if you are interested in owning your very own Artbooking or Artiste Cricut cartridge. Or visit my Close to My Heart web page at www.creativechristyg.ctmh.com. For $99 you receive a fabulous CTMH exclusive  Cricut cartridge, three coordinating My Acrylic stamp sets and three dimensional elements chipboard shape sheets.

Thanks for visiting my page. I hope you enjoyed my project. Next up in the blog hop is Angela Garcia.  Hop over to see the fabulous item she has created.

Happy Stamping!

  8. I wish I could provide a tutorial for the cookie wrapper but the truth is that I just opened a predesigned project in Design Studio and cut it.
